Yes. Frisco Freedom Fest is a rain-or-shine event. The Party in the Plaza, soccer match, and fireworks will only close if the weather becomes severe with heavy downpours, flooding, lightning or tornado warnings.
Frisco Freedom Fest is July 4, running from 4 p.m. until the Fireworks Extravaganza ends. Activities in the Children's Expo area close at 10 p.m. (time subject to change - earlier or later - pending FC Dallas match and fireworks show). For more detailed information, view our schedule.

The major intersection between the two venues is the Dallas North Tollway at Main Street. Simpson Plaza at City Hall is southeast of the intersection in the Heart of Frisco Square. Toyota Stadium is to the northeast of the intersection.
Admission to Party in the Plaza is free. You have to purchase a ticket to the FC Dallas MLS game. For tickets call 1-888-FCD-GOAL, or go to the FC Dallas website.
The amusements and activities within Party in the Plaza range in price from $1 to $6 per turn. You can purchase an all-day play wristband for $25. All-day play wristbands only available for sale between 4 - 7:30 p.m. Individual ticket sales end at 9 p.m. Buy tickets in drink tent located near fountain in Simpson Plaza. Concessions at Taste of Frisco range in price depending on offering and portion. See the Taste of Frisco information for participating restaurants.
Drinks, including sodas and bottled water, will be sold at the drink tent near the fountain in the middle of Simpson Plaza.
Food and beverages at FC Dallas Stadium have a cost. Concessions will operate as they normally would for an FC Dallas game.
The Fireworks Extravaganza will be launched from the fields north of Toyota Stadium after the soccer match is over. Please note, fireworks are set to launch for the festival on July 4 only.
Fireworks are visible from most of the areas around Simpson Plaza at City Hall and Toyota Stadium.
