Yankee Doodle Poodle Parade returned for its second year as star spangled doodles and patriotic poodles, along with their handlers strutted their stuff in style! With help from the enthusiastic crowd, the judges from sponsor Pappy's Pet Lodge, picked our three winners pictured below.
Show off your Yankee Doodle spirit! Dress to impress and strut your stuff with your poodle or doodle to earn fantastic prizes! Cost for entry is $10. All proceeds go to Collin County Animal Shelter.
Parade is on July 3 at 8 p.m. with registration/check-in at 7:30 p.m. on the east side of Simpson Plaza.
Event is limited to the first 60 dogs and their handlers. Participants will be organized into 3 groups of 20 dogs and their handlers. Top 3 of each group will go on to compete in the finals for the chance to win top awards noted below.
Please note that according to city code, all dogs must be on a leash when not competing. All dogs must also have up-to-date vaccinations.
The Yankee Doodle Poodle Parade is sponsored by Pappy's Pet Lodge and Raising Cane's.
